About the event
Catherine Traicos is a pianist and composer working across classical, jazz and cinematic styles. Her forthcoming eleventh album In The Heart Of The Night with long-time collaborator Nick Huggins is an ethereal, improvisation-led work shaped by analogue processes. This performance features improvised works with John Bannister on trumpet, adding colour, openness and a sense of spontaneity to the music.
