Get ready as Italian-born jazz vocalist Etta D’Elia and outstanding pianist Tony Celiberti serenade you with iconic Italian songs reimagined in a jazz style. From classics like “Volare” and “Mambo Italiano” to modern Italian hits by Mina and Matia Bazar, you’ll feel the amore in the air and be transported to the vibrant streets of Italy. 🎤 ABOUT ETTA D’ELIA:

Originally from Italy, Etta D’Elia is an accomplished jazz vocalist celebrated for her heartfelt interpretations and sophisticated style. Since relocating to Perth a decade ago, she has left a significant mark on the local scene. Her career highlights include singing live at the Vatican—twice—broadcast on RAI1 for audiences of millions, including performances for Pope John Paul II (2004) and Pope Benedict XVI (2005). In WA, Etta has performed in duos, trios, and quartets across iconic venues including The Crown, The Ellington Jazz Club, Jazz Fremantle, Duke of George, and Lyrics Underground. She’s also performed solo in Carmina Burana (Perth Concert Hall), and live on Channel 9’s Telethon (2018). Her hit jazz show Buona Sera Signorina – Italian Music Meets Jazz was featured at Fringe 2023, 2024 and Adelaide Fringe 2024, and this year she premiered From Naples…With Love! to great success at FRINGEWORLD 2025.


🎹 ABOUT TONY CELIBERTI:

A true staple of the Perth jazz scene, Tony’s professional journey began at 16 with WAJO and took him all the way to Berklee School of Music, Boston, where he received the prestigious Oscar Peterson scholarship. In the UK, he performed as a resident pianist in London, and back in Australia, worked with artists such as Boom Crash Opera, Air Supply, The Seekers, Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), and more. He also contributed to the Sydney Olympic Games 2006 audio team. In 2006, Tony received the Industry and Commerce of the Year Award for his contributions to music.
